Juxtapose: Coffee

This is the beginning of a new series I will be doing on here called "Juxtapose". I have always been drawn to juxtapositions. I love having images placed next to each other that speak to one another. So, I thought I would make my own little juxtapositions on here from time to time. This week as you can see we have coffee beans and then my morning mug of coffee. Why coffee? Well, let's just say coffee and I are like Romeo & Juliet. It's quite the tantalizing tryst.  I don't drink. I don't smoke. I drink coffee.

I've tried to stop, or even just slow down, but then that green mermaid sings her siren song and I find myself in line ordering a vanilla latte and listening to the Pick of the Week. Hello, my name is Tenley and I am addicted to coffee.

For now though I will only be able to have half of him. Half-caffeinated coffee is like watching a concert on DVD. It's just not the same, but you'll take what you can get. Darn you breastfeeding!

And something I did just for fun (with a sleeping baby in my arms- not so easy):

This is absolutely gorgeous! I'm kind of a sucker for coffee anything. I need my caffeine. And I love how great a warm cup of coffee, with a delicious creamer tastes. Especially if it's "flavored" coffee.

I also love soda, a good energy drink, tea, etc. But I really do like a warm cup (or cold glass) of coffee. Yum!

Beautiful photos! I too enjoy a nice cup of coffee! Besides water coffee is the only thing I drink, its been tough not drinking as much because of being preggo! :)

Angie: Thank you so much! I am a big creamer person too. I can only drink flavored coffee. It just tastes so delicious =)

Samantha: Congratulations! I know what you mean. I went from drinking like 32oz a day (ridiculous I know) to trying to cut it out. It's tough. I still have to drink a low amount due to breastfeeding. That's almost 2 years with limited coffee.. yikes! You get used to it though.

Rachael: Thank you so much!!

Sara: Thanks!!
