New Hampshire: Snow Day
I know. This is a lot of photos from one trip. When you have a photographer who doesn't know when she is going to see these sweet faces again she's going to take as many pictures as she can. And I did. This is probably the last post though. Then I will have some pics from some recent shoots and a new maternity shoot.
(in case you can't tell, yes she is feeding him snow. apparently that is what they do for fun in the snow. so silly)
As I was setting up the frames for our maternity pictures of course the kiddos had to play with them. And I'm glad they did. I just love the little masks they wear out in the snow. Once you see how much snow they eat while out there you begin to understand why they need face protection. =)
XOXO,
Tenley

New Hampshire: Family
There really are no words to describe how much I love my family. So, I won't write any. =)

New Hampshire: My Pretty Sophalou
My niece Sophie is seriously one of the smartest kids on this planet. I'm 20 years older than her and she teaches me things. She taught the boyfriend what a puffin when she was like 2. She has been a teenager since she could talk and is going to be a world famous fiction writer one day. She spends all day narrating stories that are very good. It's amazing the detail she puts into them. "Play with me" usually means sit here and listen to this story I will create or watch my interpretive ballet dance.
I love her silly and delicate nature. I love that she eats her dessert with her pinkie up while her brother uses his hands to shovel every bit of cake in his mouth. She is loving and lovely. A very special girl indeed and I love her to little Sophalou pieces!
And just for fun her "politician" pose. I have no idea where she learned this but it's her new go-to pose for pictures. SO funny!
PS. She got dresses up that night because my brother, her uncle, was coming over for dinner. She loves him that much. Isn't that so cute?
XOXO,
Tenley

New Hampshire: Girl's Day
Last Thursday we had a girl's day out in Keene, NH. The boys got to have their time drinking bourbon, smoking cigars, and doing things boys like to do. So, for our time we did what girls like to do. Cupcakes, craft store, and cuddling ferrets and kitty cats. It was a lot of fun!
We went back home and Leah and I began making crafts for Baby Bear. I have to photograph and share the ridiculously adorable and sweet things she made for our little bun. We are so lucky to have such a crafty and thoughtful little lady in our family!
(In regards to the photo below: we did go left after I took this. We're rebels like that.)
(Leah took the picture of Sophie and I- love that little girl!)
Miss them already!
XOXO,
Tenley

Week 27: Snow Bunnies
We took this weeks pictures in New Hampshire. This is right outside their house. I have trash cans and an uneven driveway right outside my house. It snowed quite a bit while we were there, which is quite lovely when you are from California and never get it. Even more lovely when it's not your responsibility to shovel it everyday. My absolutely wonderful sister-in-law spent so long snow-blowing and shoveling for us to take pictures and go play outside. A big thank you and a Happy Birthday yesterday to one of the sweetest people on this planet, Leah!
Though I am so glad that I am not going to be pregnant when it's really hot, it's tough when you start outgrowing your coats. Hopefully it warms up a little bit soon because they aren't going to last much longer.
Victoria of Garden of Eden Designs asked me do to an interview for her blog and it's up now. You can see it here. Make sure to check out her whole blog. It's wonderful and full of inspiration! Thanks Victoria for letting me be a part of your wonderful I Wonder Wednesday series!
Hope you all had a lovely Wednesday!
XOXO, Tenley

New Hampshire: The many looks of Odie
We had the best time in New Hampshire! It was so nice to spend time with my family. This being our last trip out there, or anywhere, for a while I put my laptop away and just relaxed and enjoyed it. I love each and every one of them to pieces!
This post is dedicated to my adorable dress-up loving nephew. He's the funniest kid I know. This kid literally says the darnedest things. One time he went off to the bathroom saying he was going to make a poop that looked like a policeman. Apparently he came out looking very angry and exclaimed, "he didn't have glasses or a hat". Oh, how I love him!
I have so many pictures from our time there. It being our last trip I wanted to take as many pictures as I could to remember every bit of it. Expect lots of posts this week sharing our time there.
XOXO,
Tenley

Off to New Hampshire
Less than 24 hours till we get to see these shining faces again. I absolutely can't wait!! The above picture was taken in October of 2009. I made the awesome mistake of leaving my camera out and they took these little gems to show me how much they love me. This was the last time I saw those little faces. I miss them so much!
Here are some more pictures from our last trip there to get me even more ecstatic about seeing them tomorrow:
Oh, how I love them!
