3 months.

I'm a little late with this post. He's almost 4 months now.

Here are some things about this last month that I want to remember:

Hugging his stuffed animals. Learning to play his piano. Lots of laughing and smiles. Sleeping through the night. Fighting naps. Splashing in the bathtub. Lighting up when he sees Daddy. Playing airplane. Grabbing his toys, batting them around and putting them in his mouth. Holding his binkie. Smiles for Changington Pup. Baby massages. Looking at the pictures in a book. Kicking with excitement. Loving Captain Calamari. Best friend Tigger. Very ticklish. Open mouth kisses. Baby conversations.

Sorry if it's a little quiet here this week. I am working very hard on the new site and marketing materials. I will do my best to post often though, with Part 2 of the FAQ coming soon. Happy Thursday everyone!

My Dream Come True.

Posting here has become a lot harder than I thought it would be. Eating and other mundane tasks have become a lot harder than I thought they'd be too. I suddenly have to wait for a single short-lived quiet moment just to be able to go to the bathroom. These are my small victories every day now. And the days I get the dishes done? Forget about it. I'm running around the house doing my best Rocky impression looking around for my well deserved cookies and medals because that my friends is a big deal. Ah, my new incredibly beautiful life! And it truly is.

I have been dealing with a lot of health issues and problems in these last 5 weeks postpartum. The most recent being that I came down with mastitis and spent Monday with a fever of 102.7. There is a lot of other stuff too that I'm not sure I want to speak about. It has been a tough time to be honest, but I still can't help but sit there on my porch swing everyday in awe of how incredibly blessed I am. I look at this beautiful baby boy in my arms and nothing else matters. He is quite literally my biggest dream come true. The one thing I always knew I wanted was to be a mom and here I am. Living my dream. Having Zachary makes everything in life more than worth it.

So, every time I start to get a little "why me" with all the things that keep piling up in these last weeks I just look down and there are a pair of the most gorgeous almond-shaped blue eyes staring back at me and poof it's all gone.

PS. Aren't these crates amazing? Our roommate finds the coolest stuff sometimes. He found these on a curb during Spring Cleaning.
